An unrelated but equally important publication will soon be
forthcoming from the Healthcare Distribution Management Association (HDMA), the
national association representing primary healthcare distributors. HDMA is
preparing to publish an updated bar code labeling guideline that addresses significant
changes that will be made to pharmaceutical case-level product identification
and shipping labels within the healthcare distribution channel.
