RFID: An Oddly Engaging Technology

Bert Moore

RFID seems to have become both a tool and a toy that is accessible to the general public.

Artists, technophiles, college students and farm families have all developed systems using RFID with essentially off-the-shelf tags and readers (albeit with some modifications).

What does this mean for the future of RFID?
